Award for Foundational Science Education in the Curriculum
The Award for Foundational Science Education in the Curriculum recognizes a current faculty member (or team of faculty) who has demonstrated leadership, innovation, and excellence in enhancing the UPSOM curriculum through the teaching of basic science content in the MS1-2 phase. Examples might include external resource integration, demonstration of clinical relevance, integration across the segment, case-writing/curriculum development, novel assessment approaches, and/or outstanding teaching or leadership in a course or course segment.
