Katie Maietta, MPPM

Katie provides administrative leadership and oversees the planning and operational management of the Office of Medical Education, Standardized Patient Program, and the undergraduate medical education program. Administrative functions include human resources, facilities management and development, budgetary management, project management, strategic planning and governance, regulatory adherence, curriculum management, and overall organization of instructional support and delivery, including educational technology.
Katie graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Master of Public Policy and Management as well as a BA in Political Science, a BA in Italian Language and Literature, and a certificate in German Language and Literature.
Katie is a member of the Association of American Medical Colleges Curriculum Committee, Group on Institutional Planning, and Group on Business Affairs. She is also a member of the Accreditation Preparation and Quality Improvement (APQI) community of practice and currently serves as the Membership Chair.
